Ukraine just bombed the steelworks that arms Russia's war machine
Explosions just went off in the Russian city of Lipetsk.
Fires are burning right now near the Novolipetsk Steel plant, one of Russia's biggest steelworks.
Ukrainian monitoring channels say Ukrainian forces hit the city a few hours ago. Russian air defences reportedly tried to shoot down aerial targets over Lipetsk, and a fire broke out near the plant. A second fire is burning near the local airfield.
Some channels say Ukrainian 'Flamingo' cruise missiles were involved. Other outlets only say 'aerial targets' and won't name the missile. Nobody has confirmed it either way.
No deaths or injuries reported. Russian authorities haven't said a word.
That's everything we know.
