Russia just thanked America for stopping a Moscow bombing plot
Russia's FSB just arrested a teenager in Moscow.
The plan? An attack at the Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve.
And here's the twist. The United States tipped Russia off first.
The US Embassy had warned, a day ago, of a credible threat of a mass casualty event at that exact museum. Germany's embassy warned too. The place got evacuated during a concert, though staff told people at the time it was shut for technical reasons.
A few hours ago, the FSB moved. It worked with the National Guard, the Interior Ministry and the Investigative Committee, after checking what US law enforcement had passed along through what it called established partner channels.
The teenager had posted photos of himself on TikTok. Tactical gear. A balaclava. Sunglasses. Holding something that looked like an automatic weapon. One photo was taken at Tsaritsyno itself, captioned "I found a place."
A search of his home found the same clothes. His phone showed a neo-Nazi Telegram subscription, and searches about terrorist attacks and mass killings.
The Investigative Committee is still deciding what happens next. The teenager has not been named.
That's everything we know.
