Israel's military just had its worst month for incursions into Syria all year.

The UN's human rights office says 280 armed Israeli incursions happened in September alone. That's the highest monthly number since the start of 2026.

Volker Türk runs that office. He's the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and he released these figures a day ago out of Geneva.

His spokesperson, Shabia Mantoo, said the incursions were tracked through open-source monitoring. So what do these incursions actually look like? Raids on homes. Restrictions on movement. Harassment of civilians. Arbitrary detention. People's livelihoods destroyed.

And here's the other number. The UN says 49 Syrians are currently in Israeli custody.

But it's careful here. It says that number hasn't been independently verified as a complete current total.

So that's a government accused of holding dozens of people, and nobody outside Israel can confirm exactly how many.

Some of those held, the UN says, describe detention stretching past a year. No reason given for why they were picked up. Moved between facilities without being told where. And there are allegations of beatings, being forced to stand for long periods, dogs set on detainees, and threats made against their families.

The UN says at least 14 long-term detainees were released in August and September. But new people are still being picked up right now.

Three days ago, a farmer with a disability was shot in the leg and briefly detained during an incursion in Jubbata Al-Khashab, in northern Quneitra. The UN says he was frightened by the soldiers and tried to move away. That's when he was shot.

Five days ago, a 22-year-old man from the town of Jaba was killed by Israeli forces near Al-Hamidiyah. The UN says it isn't aware of any warning shots being fired. It's calling for a prompt, impartial investigation.

Openly threatening with ruination, anyone they consider critical of their behaviour. demanding that the civilised world accept child murder as neccesary to their safety. Now pumping ticktock with videos of young Jewsh girls dncing ,? To the tune of infanticide? Thats to convince the youth of the world that " its all OK.! come and have a root". Child murder has cut deep with the youth all around the world, I dont know if sex will rub it out. lauriemillerjade.com
