Ukraine just set a Russian oil refinery and a weapons factory on fire
Ukraine just hit three Russian regions in one night.
An oil refinery is on fire. So is a military factory.
Monitoring channel Exilenova Plus says the Saratov Oil Refinery is ablaze after a Ukrainian drone strike. A large fire has also broken out near the Almaz military factory in Rostov. Neither report has been confirmed by Ukraine's General Staff or by Russian authorities yet.
In Oryol, residents reported a missile strike on the Proton plant. That plant makes parts for Russia's Iskander-M missiles, its S-71 cruise missiles and its Pantsir-S1 air defence systems. Local and OSINT channels say Ukraine's Flamingo missiles were used. Residents posted videos of a fire straight after.
Explosions were also reported in Belgorod, just over the border. Nobody knows yet what was hit there. Russian air defence reportedly intercepted drones over homes in the city.
The Kyiv Independent says it could not immediately verify any of this.
And this comes one night after a separate Ukrainian drone strike set the Afipsky Oil Refinery in Krasnodar Krai on fire.
That's everything we know.
