Pakistan is accused of bombing the Houthis and it denies the whole thing
A Houthi missile has just hit King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
That's Saudi Arabia's busiest airport.
A Sudanese resident is dead. Eight more are wounded, Saudi authorities say.
The Saudi-led coalition says it shot down two more missiles aimed at Riyadh around the same time. Reuters says, citing social media footage, that a passenger plane got hit too, empty, parked at the gate. Nobody else has confirmed that yet.
Yahya Saree, the Houthi military spokesperson, says his forces did it. He says quote "the missile hit its target precisely and disrupted airport traffic." He's warning airlines again. Stay out of Saudi airspace, he says, unless you're flying into Mecca or Medina.
And there's more. The New York Times says, through an unnamed Pakistani military official, that Pakistani jets have struck the Houthis. If true, that's huge. It would be the first time a Mecca Pact country has gone to war for another one.
But Pakistan says that's fake. Its Ministry of Information and Broadcasting called the report fabricated.
That's everything we know.
