Overview

Zufron News welcomes constructive discussion and encourages readers to share their views.

Anyone can read comments. Posting a comment on an article is open to Silver and Gold members, and posting a comment on a film is open to Gold members.

Our comment section is intended to provide a respectful environment for discussion. By posting a comment, you agree to comply with this Comment Policy, our Terms & Conditions and applicable law.

Comments Must Be Relevant

Comments should generally relate to the article, topic or discussion.

We may remove comments that are unrelated, repetitive or disruptive.

The Following Content Is Not Permitted

Users must not post comments containing:

• Threats or encouragement of violence;
• Defamatory or knowingly false allegations about individuals or organisations;
• Hate speech or discriminatory material;
• Incitement to hatred or violence;
• Harassment, bullying or intimidation;
• Personal or confidential information about another person;
• Doxxing or attempts to expose private information;
• Impersonation or deliberate misrepresentation of identity;
• Fraudulent or deceptive content;
• Spam;
• Unauthorised advertising or promotional material;
• Malware or malicious links;
• Content that infringes copyright or other intellectual-property rights;
• Obscene or unlawful material;
• Content that facilitates or encourages criminal activity;
• Content prohibited under applicable law.

Personal Information

Do not publish another person's private information in a comment.

This includes private telephone numbers, home addresses, personal email addresses, identification information, financial information or other sensitive personal information.

Allegations About Individuals

Users should exercise particular care when making allegations concerning identifiable individuals.

Comments containing serious allegations may be removed or withheld where they cannot be appropriately verified or where publication could create legal or other risks.

Moderation

Comments appear as soon as they are posted; we do not approve them first. An automatic filter refuses some comments when they are submitted, and we may remove a comment after it has appeared.

We may:

• Reject comments;
• Remove comments.

We do not edit comments. We are not required to publish every submitted comment.

Moderation Decisions

Our moderation decisions may consider:

• The content of the comment;
• Applicable law;
• Relevance;
• Context;
• Repeated behaviour;
• The safety of users;
• The integrity of the discussion.

We may remove content without providing an individual explanation in every case.

User Responsibility

Users are responsible for the comments they submit.

Posting a comment on Zufron News does not transfer responsibility for the user's statements to Zufron News.

Legal Compliance

Zufron News may remove or restrict content where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or lawful requests including; defamation, invasion of privacy, discrimination, racism, contempt of religion, prohibited activities and false or misleading content among regulated or restricted areas.
